Do i miss Villa? Yes there are days when i miss him here. Not just in footballing terms but also in human ones. - Juan Mata (via barcastuff)
Valencia boys no more.. except Mata.
I guess you can’t take the kid out of him :P
lol.. i’m pretty sure david has jumped on at least half of the entire Spain NT. :p
i know i’ve sort of posted this before but i really just love villa’s get-up here.
He played in the game against Honduras and showed a game played with boldness before the rival defense. He had a chance of scoring but came upon the Honduran goalkeeper. Yet he proved why he’s on the selection.
the future has been written…

As told to Marca:
- Piqué: It’s a privilege to have him on our team. David is goals.
- Iker: One of the best goal scorers in the world, if not the best. Spain is lucky to have Villa. What can I say about my teammate and friend! And there’s one more thing, an important thing, which is that for all the goals he scores and all that things that are said about him, he is still very humble.
- Mata: Villa is an extraordinary forward. He always has goals in mind. Having him on our team is knowing that any play can end in a goal. I don’t know if he’s the best forward in the world, because there are a lot of good ones, but he’s among the best.
- Sergio: He never fails you, he’s one of those forwards that you know will score. He’s very important for us, not only for the goals, but also for the work he does.
- Xavi: El Guaje is goals. For a midfielder, it’s wonderful having a player like him, one who never stops moving and that always offers you solutions when you’re looking to pass.
- Busquets: I’m sure he’s going to score a lot more goals. His numbers are incredible. He can soon be considered along the likes of prolific goalscorers such as Ronaldo or Romario.
- Llorente: You always learn from him, like you do from Fernando Torres. He’s a pure goalscorer and he shows it every game. He doesn’t need to be a center forward to score and that says everything.
- Javi: Villa is amazing.
